Since my 4th of July evening fireworks watching was disrupted
by a tummy in distress, Gentleman Farmer and I headed down to the Centralia
Antiques Mall for some solace on Monday. After browsing the stalls, we picked
up some vittles at the store and headed to our favorite local spot for
a picnic ~ the historic Borst Home.
(Please see my initial post here.)
After our repast, we enjoyed a little stroll around the volunteer tended gardens.
Here are some of the flora in bloom in July!

It is wonderful that the volunteers do such a great job at maintaining that beautiful garden. They must be proud to be a part of something that touches others with such beauty.
What beautiful gardens! Hope you are feeling better!
Dear Raeann,

Sorry you didn't feel well, hope you are better now.
The gardens are beautiful! Isn't it wonderful when we can be with our MAN! I have loved when Mr. Phil and I can walk and look at our gardens together.
Blessings sweet lady,
Linda
How lovely!
Thanks for sharing your picnic with us. Hope you tummy is much better.
Have a wonderful weekend friend :)
I pray that you are feeling much better this week.
But I think that this outing was much nicer and quieter than the fireworks ;)
The flowers are just lovely. Here in PA, everything is quite dry due to our three week drought...gardens look very sad here :(
Thank you for taking me along...
