"The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it,
but do not know where it comes from and where it is going;
so is everyone who is born of the Spirit."
John 3:8
~
"Although we don't quite understand it, it illustrates the way one is born of the Spirit. I can't tell you exactly how the Spirit of God operates, but I can surely tell when He is moving in the lives and hearts of His people. "

How appropriate for today! The lesson in my Sunday School was the promise of the Holy Spirit :) I enjoy your blog and found you through Paula at Rose Cottage.
Have a Blessed Day!
I'm not sure I can say, either, how the Spirit operates but I do know He resides within - and I am ever so grateful for His continual presence!
Thanks for sharing those thoughts. I've spent some time looking through "the pantry"...goodness, I didn't realize so many yummy recipes were waiting there. Looking forward to trying several....
Have a great week!

J Vernon McGee ~ what a sweet old guy! He's one person I would love to have met.
I love your new header, too! Just perfect for the parables; it reminds me of your home.

Very apt. And I love the cool tones and winsome quality of this illustration. Who has seen the wind, indeed....BLessed are those who have not seen, and yet believe...
Dear Lady Farmer,
We certainly have been FEELING the wind around here lately! Lovely new banner you have; so fit for spring.
Love,
Marqueta
Than you for sharing this timely scripture and J Vernon Mcgee's thought on it, I have great respect for this man. Years go I listened to him on the radio and was so blessed
