"I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from whence shall my help come?
My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand.
The sun will not smite you by day, nor by night.
The LORD will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul.
The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever."

You always think that you have a favoriate psalm...but every psalm is a favoriate because it speaks to our deepest place in our hearts.
This psalm is no exception. It just focuses on the fact that He, Our Lord, is always with us. He does not slumber or gets tired. His help is forthcoming in every situation we might encounter.
Thank you dear friend for reminding us...

Hello Dear Friend,
This Psalm was one of the first I memorized as a teen. I still quote it from time to time. Thank you for sharing.
