Why did the chicken....er deer....cross the road?

Always, around the first of September, when school
starts, the apples begin to fall off the trees!
And they know!
~*~
Below ~ momma deer enjoying a late afternoon snack.

Her twin fawns are quick learners ~

they clean them up faster than you can say
apple strudel!

~*~

After that little feast, they decide to move out
to the top of the property and await
the dropping of more of their favorite
sweet treats!
~*~
Traffic get heavy this time day!
Miss Jewel is heading home after
doing some grasshopper hunting!

Crossing at the corner as all properly trained
children do!

Pedestrians do have the right of way!
Jewel must stop and wait for them to cross!

"Come on, sister, you're holding up traffic!"

A little country fun! ;~P
