Earlier this month I entered a giveaway
over at Homestead Revival.
Amy was giving away a set of plant markers
created by Lindsay at Homespun Sprout's Etsy Store!
And I won!
Look at what I received in the mail today!
(Drat Blogger for turning my pic! Does this
happen to anyone else?)
I got to choose what five veggies/flowers/ herbs
I got to choose what five veggies/flowers/ herbs
I would like to have!
I wonder if Lindsay planned that?
Perfect in front of one of my lavender plants!
I have 40 plants that look just like this one!

Congratulations Lady Farmer! I'm so happy for you. Isn't it fun to see your name as a winner?
Also, I love all your pictures from Butchart Gardens. Did you know that I was there 21 years ago with my hubby? We were newly weds at the time.
Have a wonderful weekend.

These are SO charming! Congratulations. I tried to go to their blogs but was unsuccessful. Are the spoons painted or kind of decoupaged?
Oh my dear friend, your lavender looks beautiful!
The spoons are just perfect :)
Congratulations!
Maria
PS: I especially like the tomatoes one ;)

I fixed the links to the blogs and Etsy store. You should be able to access them now!
The spoons are decopaged! And she coats them with something to prevent water damage! They are as cute!
So happy for your giveaway win! Those are cute markers!!

Dear Raeann ~ SOOO cute!! What a fun giveaway to win! :) LOL...I have corn waiting to ripen...will it?? I'm in the same boat as you with the cooler temps this year. At least, I have read somewhere that if you harvest your tomatoes green, they will eventually ripen indoors....might have to resort to that.
About your plans to make blackberry syrup...I altered the "recipe" just a bit with a note about the time it takes to extract the juice. Just set it dripping and go do something else for a very long time. Maybe do your picking in the morning and strain during the day and cook it all up at night. Just thought I'd alert you to the time it takes. :)
I do hope you enjoy it! I like it even by the spoonful.
Blessings to you this day!

Camille
Hello Dear Friend, Congratulations on your beautiful plant markers.I think this is a very unique idea. I most certainly like these better than the wooden, or plastic ones. Great idea, I will visit them. Thanks for sharing, and your lavender is looking great, mine didn't do so well this year.
Hugs,
Sue
Those are the cutest little plant markers ever! I might even be tempted to grown some plants - just to use the markers! (OK. maybe not.) Have a great week:)
