A drive to the ocean let us to...

a quiet, sandy shore...

and handfuls of circular,

star faced sand dollars.

We brought home a bit o' the sea!

How lovely! When we headed out to the ocean, we found no shells! Maybe we have to head farther south towards your neck of the woods!

Blessings!

How very beautiful. I was surprised to find that the sand dollars live in such cold waters. We used to find many on the beaches of Whidbey Island, WA, when we lived there.

Oh to live by the sea and walk on the sandy shore - to listen to the gentle waves and welcoming calls of the seagulls.

Dear Lady Farmer,

What beautiful and large sand dollars! I can almost smell their sandy saltiness from here ;) .

What a blessing to be by the sea.

Oh Raeann,

How beautiful! I miss the ocean. I used to live in Massachusetts and often went to the Cape or Maine for vacation but was never fortunate enough to find any sand dollars. Thank you for sharing and have a blessed day!

Hello, Dear Friend, I didn't get to participate yesterday in OW, as I have been nursing a cold that I got last weekend. But have tried to work on my blog and do some visiting.

Your photograph of the sea is stunning, and those sand dollars are too.
And as always the scripture you share goes so well with your post. Thank you for sharing,
Sue

The ocean is just a dream for me. I never go to it. I love the idea though, the shells, the color, the sound.

Happy WW.
