Country White

A small collection of white ...

sitting atop Grandma's little spinet piano.

A white pottery flower pot is home to a Christmas Cactus,
whose muted red and green leaves pick up the color of the
apple painted on the cow creamer.
A white mortar and pestle join the black and white calf
'milk pitcher' and a vintage toy bovine from early childhood days.

Another cow cream pitcher faces her competition while flanked by a
milk glass bud vase and a couple of pitchers.
The large pitcher is part of a bowl and pitcher set that the Gentleman Farmer
discovered waiting for a home at the local transfer station. He brought
her home and I cleaned her up thinking what a nice yellow set.
As the years of grease and grime washed off, I was
happy to discover they were creamy white! She is
shadowed by a small, newer cream pitcher.

A little 'milk bottle' salt and pepper shaker set
stands referee in the center.

What a sweet collection. I have been looking for white items to add to our bathroom, as we are in the midst of re-doing it! :)

Blessings!

Dear Lady Farmer,

I love the scripture that so aptly describes your cow cleansing! :)

What a nice little herd you have; so well-behaved. And I love your Christmas cactus' coloring. I had to leave the two Christmas cactuses that we had in Idaho with my mother when we moved, since Mr. Graham wasn't too keen on driving halfway across the country with them in the moving truck's cab!

Love,

Marqueta

I love your collection of white knick knacks. They look very refreshing, definitely remind me of the scripture that you posted at the end. :)
