Magi

"Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying, 'Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east, and have come to worship Him." ....and lo, the star, which they had seen in the east, went on before them, until it came and stood over where the Child was. And when they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. And they came into the house and saw the Child with Mary His mother; and they fell down and worshipped Him; and opening their treasures they presented to Him gifts of gold and frankincense and myrrh."

Isn't it amazing how God led those magi from the east to come and worship Him, Emmanuel!

I really like what you've done this Christmas with the selected Scriptures to relay the story of our dear Saviour's birth. I think it is amazing how many people were in the story and made it into our Bible...the Magi...very interesting part of the account. Thank you for pointing us all in the right direction this Christmas and for taking the time to do these posts!

Have a lovely Lord's Day!
Blessings,
Camille
