I Stand in Awe

"You are beautiful beyond description,
Too marvelous for words;
Too wonderful for comprehension,
Like nothing ever seen or heard.
Who can grasp Your infinite wisdom?
Who can fathom the depth of Your love?
You are beautiful beyound description, majesty enthroned above.
And I stand, I stand in awe of You,
I stand, I stand in awe of You;
Holy God, to whom all praise is due,
I stand in awe of You."

TEXT : Mark Altrogge

"Let all the earth fear the LORD:
Let all the inhabitants of the world
stand in awe of Him."
Psalm 33:8

Is that a Margaret Tarrant?

Love,

Marqueta

p.s. I'll have to post something about commonplace books; I've been meaning to for quite a while!

That girl just displays such strong faith!

I haven't sung that song for a looong looong time - thanks for bringing it back to my mind.

Have a blessed week yourself! :)

Re: smocking - Thanks for your kind words. It is quite simple once your fabric is pleated... I wonder if you can find someone in your area that would do the pleating for you.

I have not sung that song since we left our church in Wisconsin - I may have to introduce it to our church here it Tennessee. The words are so powerful and the melody is lovely.
Thanks for reminding me of it.
