From Cameroon

Just a little update from our girl in Africa!

"We have been spending a few days in Limbe, learning to make transects, how to set up trail cameras, and how to identify chimpanzee and gorilla feces. I have been taking pictures, but any that I take in the forest are the property of our sponsoring agency, so I am not sure what I can post on the blog. Anyway we are going to the beach today and will be leaving for the forest on Monday so I will try to call you tomorrow afternoon.
I love you very much,
Shannon"

Hope you are all having a great start to your weekend!

I have whispered a prayer for Shannon, asking the Lord to be with her and surround her with angels.

Thank you so much for your precious comments regarding my anniversary. Oh, I have been dreaming of having a rose garden. I long for a beautiful place with lots of cottage flowers. So, your comment about roses touched my spirit, indeed.

Many blessings to you. Have a wonderful weekend and be filled with the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In His Love,

Andrea

Lady Farmer,

What an adventure! Thank you for sharing Shannon's travel with all of us.

Our prayers, as always, are with her, and also with you and your husband! I know as a mother, how hard it is not to worry over our children. But, take comfort, Our Lord is keeping you, your husband and Shannon quite close :)

many blessings on your weekend!

Identifying chimpanzee and gorilla feces? Um, well, that's a new one on me...definitely not at the top of my to-do list. :) But I'm sure it'll serve her well sometime in the future. I'm enjoying these interesting little updates. :) I'm going to have to ask my Geography Bee son where Cameroon is. I don't have a clue. :)
Have a great day!!!
