Wednesday ~ White and Outdoors?

As I was telling you on my last post, after our visit to the
I picked up my first gallon of their Raw Whole Jersey Milk this morning!
As soon as the cream rises, I am going to attempt to
make my first batch of homemade butter since I was a child.

Come back on Friday for Show and Tell and I will tell you
about the item behind the jar of milk!

    I Love that butter churn you have in the background. Is that what you're going to use to make your butter? If so, How fun!

    I remember making butter with the kids when they were little by shaking it in a jar. It took a little work but turned out well.

    That is such a beautiful sight. It reminds me of when I was little. We use to get whole milk from a dairy farmer up the street. My mother never made butter though. Your awesome! I do remember spilling it a couple of times in the backseat of the car.

    Have joined to see how your homemade butter turns out! I know of a dairy farm that sells their milk with the cream still in it - heaven!

    Oh dear friend,

    This must be so much fun, to see the sweet cream turn into sweet butter...yummm!

    I have never made butter, but I sure would like to try one day :)
