I am looking into having a portable chicken coop build that you can move around-- will post what it looks like on some other out door Wednesday... my plants --- there are some breeds of dogs you can get that will protect the property and keep the pets in at night especially cats -- -- I agree do not like to shoot anything either. I have the notion to do a goat fiber farm and olives some time in the future so will need the same dogs that Martha Steward uses for her goats and other animals - and my friends who have Aplaca farms. For now my dog will do in town but in the country he would be ripped apart by the coyotes - sad to say.
Joannyjoannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03338150531816845279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3753735611987552202.post-71138278828069019952010-05-06T10:58:51.582-07:002010-05-06T10:58:51.582-07:00Wow! The coyotes are coming into the city now snatching our cats. A few years ago with all the rapid development going on the hillsides were taken over by huge houses and forced the wildlife to come into the towns-- we had a sickly mountain lion living in our bamboo thicket.

Happy outdoor Wednesday.
Joannyjoannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03338150531816845279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3753735611987552202.post-56499106543484809262010-05-05T14:20:31.681-07:002010-05-05T14:20:31.681-07:00Reminds me of Anne and Dianna walking thru the Hau...Reminds me of Anne and Dianna walking thru the Haunted Wood and being "deliciously scared." =)The B'shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00743137820354265307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3753735611987552202.post-25376732644596108532010-05-05T14:02:47.424-07:002010-05-05T14:02:47.424-07:00What a fun nature walk...made better by being with...What a fun nature walk...made better by being with the one you love!

Blessings!
~NadineNadinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09975125019581254008noreply@blogger.com
